DESCRIPTION:The Railway Industry Association (RIA) is jointly organising this event with the Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) which will see the launch of new Guidance to Railway for Testing and Trialling in Great Britain. \nIn April 2014\, the RSSB published a good practice guide for testing and trialling new technology for Britain’s railway. It aimed to improve understanding of the process of product introduction and associated testing\, and intended as the key reference document for all testing and trialling activities. RSSB is currently working with several industry stakeholders\, including RIA to update the document to include novel techniques and tool\, such as simulation and virtual validation. And the expanded UK capabilities with new railway testing centres either opened or in development. \nJoin us for the event to hear about the changes in the new guidance and meet the organisations offering testing and trialling capabilities.
